A few years ago, the Department of Dentistry at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) undertook an ambitious initiative and launched the Dental Journal of IGIMS (DJIGIMS). What began as a modest vision has now matured into a consistently evolving academic platform, one that continues to reflect the spirit of clinical excellence and research innovation in dentistry.
With great pride, we present Volume 4, Issue 2 of DJIGIMS. This journal stands as a testament to the collective commitment of our contributors, editorial team, and reviewers. The continued success of DJIGIMS would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of the Editorial Board, whose diligence forms the journal’s foundation. Deep gratitude is also extended to the Director of IGIMS, all the authors and researchers from across the country who have shared their valuable work through this platform.
Their contributions, involving technological advancements, innovative methodologies, and evidence-based clinical insights, not only enrich the field but also help shape a safer, more efficient future for dental healthcare in India and beyond.
It is our sincere hope that DJIGIMS will remain a source of credible knowledge and inspiration for dental professionals, researchers, and students alike. May the pursuit of scientific excellence that fuels this journal continue to grow and fulfil the vision we set forth at PGIDER, IGIMS.
